Lynn was clearly frustrated by her inability to figure out her recent series of ESPs. She walked to church part deliberating them and part telling God to make His messages clearer. She wondered what she was to do with them in the event that she actually understood them. “Lord, I beg You to choose a more suitable person to carry out Your wishes. I can’t even figure out what they are.”
In church, the bishop included the previous day’s events in his sermon. Lynn then realized why she was a recipient of a barrage of strange thoughts. She and one of the female astronauts had a few things in common. They were both female physicians, each married to a doctor, a mother, great ambition and perseverance to achieve their goals. The one difference was that the astronaut was dead but she was still very much alive. The strange coincidence was that she was planning to start volume three of her novel. In that, the central character would be a female astronaut spying on Iraq from space and later by land. She was in the protagonist’s lair and expired at the completion of her mission.
After mass, she requested an appointment to speak with the bishop. “You maycomeback this afternoon or Thursday evening.” He said. Neither time was right for her. “Send me e-mail about the best time for you.” He suggested.
Lynn laughed thinking of what she had in mind earlier. She did as suggested but cancelled the appointment. Instead, she briefly described her mental conversation with God on her way to church. “His reply was quick and with a sense of humor.” She wrote. “That’s why I laughed when you mentioned e-mail.”
By this time, she was beginning to realize that there was some connection between her ESP’s and the outline of Volume III of her book. The first two volumes were finished in 1980. She focused on a female FMG (Foreign Medical Graduate) who struggled to hurdle required training and examinations in the US after prolonged and repeated so called residencies to earn income. Much later, she was allowed to take state Medical board licensing examinations and practice Medicine in the country. After six years in the country, she finally was legally recognized as a Medical doctor in the state of Pennsylvania. She had previously written to various state Medical boards to be granted the privilege of taking the examinations. Along with other FMG’s, she was consistently turned down. It simply was not allowed. Citizenship was a requirement. Without it, there was no possibility to be allowed to do so. Without the examination, licensure was not possible. She could not practice Medicine. She was not allowed to work in a non-Medical job either.
Ironically, persistent as she was, she missed the first opportunity for non-citizen FMG’s to take the licensing examination. She was distracted by the coming of her second baby. She took the next available scheduled examination in Pennsylvania and passed. Next came the one in New York State. Later, she requested and received Medical licensure by reciprocity in New Jersey. Last in the list was one in Arizona. Later on, she took the written part of the specialty board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and earned the prestigious title of Junior Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
It was in New Jersey that she encountered the repercussion of world economic politics. The first Arab oil embargo in her lifetime happened. There were fuel shortages worldwide. In the dead of winter in the eastern United States of America, the effect was more devastating than in warmer areas. Most gas stations had long lines of vehicles. Most had a system of rationing supplies based on license plate odd oe even number endings or issuing state. Hospital administrators provided employees with letters of preference for service. Soon, the pumps run dry. So did a lot of gas tanks. Her car quit running before reaching the hospital one predawn cold morning. She had to stumble on the ice and snow the rest of the way. The family moved to Arizona the following summer.
Arizona was just a little too warm and the rural area Medical politics quite hot specially where care for the indigent and uninsured was concerned. State, hospital service, religious charity systems were always available in the east. Medicaid was just starting there and caused confusion but not negligence and animosity. Here she faced the disappointment of having to work in a technologically and culturally deprived setting along with stringent and stubborn resistance from the Medical Director. The County Board of Supervisors naturally backed up his decisions. After all, it was preferable to cut costs. He was definitely good at that.
At this point, diplomacy was not her best asset. Inevitably, she lost her job. The Medical Director was later discredited and she was exonerated. However, this was a time when new blood an new technology were not readily accepted by long time local practitioners who were happy and set with their ways. Lynn found herself in the crossfire between oldtimers and newcomers with then new current practice standards. Practicing in a wider area of the same county with more indigent and disadvantaged patients increased the problem. Getting patients to private physicians for appropriate care was difficult. Appropriateness of treatment is a matter of opinion. When involving the gray area of patients unable to pay, it is more than that.
In Volume II of her book, Lynn planned to discuss the different experiences women deal with in different situations in their lives. Though some women have little mjor change in family affairs, some do and some have more resulting trauma and insecurity and make more mistakes in the attempt to normalize the new relationships. She did not experience any of the scenarios listed in her outline. Furthermore, she did not believe that her family would be involved in even some of the adverse twists in life that she would imagine them to be involved in and worse yet, cause them. She wrote them off. The central character lost her husband and two daughters. She had to deal with the complications of starting a new life in addition to her previous problems. It was in this volume that the central character and her physician second husband had a son by in vitro fertilization.
Lynn’s worry at this time was that since Laurel died in real life of a different cause, there may be a different female physician astronaut that may be involved in the picture. There may be someone else in grave danger and die in the same manner as the main female character in Volume III’ s original outline.
The day before the Columbia disaster, Lynn was suddenly grief stricken at the thought of her husband’s funeral. She had a vision of herself wearing a red dress with crocheted overlay. This was made at the same time she finished Volume II. She wrote the outline of Volume III later.
She saw herself standing by his coffin. The most illogical thing was that he was very much alive, healthy as could be and was sitting in the living room reclining chair watching TV. She was lying on the sofa behind him. Then the doorbell rang. A County Sheriff Deputy hand delivered a sub poena ordering her to submit x former patient’s medical records. To avoid having to appear in court to do so, she opted to make copies. That meant that the papers had to be notarized. She then automatically thought of a notary public friend who recently happened to experience a series of cardiac arrests This friend later called to notify her that she would have to cancel her reservation for their coming club dinner meeting because she was not feeling well. She was unable to describe nor explain details. She was apparently not sure of the etiology.
“Have you called your doctor yet?”
“No.”
“Would you like me to?”
“Jim is already on the other phone.”
“OK.”
The following morning, Lynn felt a sudden to impulse to turn on the TV. Unlike most times when she spent several minutes searching for the correct channel, CNN was instantly on the screen announcing an urgent newsbreak. There was a loss of communications with the Columbia spaceship crew soon followed by the message saying that the breakup of the shuttle over Texas was confirmed. The image of the all white upside down ‘Santa Clause’s head’ minus the face and with just a portion of the cap followed by a long, thick, plaited beard trailing upwards in the clear blue sky dominated the screen. It was the shuttle’s debris dropping from space to earth followed by several contrails in a slightly sigmoid configuration with each strip distinct from the others, all equidistant from the other, following the same curves as a well organized marching band would.

Bits of Nostradamus quartrain describing the ‘bearded comet’ entered her mind. This was obviously not a comet … it was upside down … visible in the early morning … it was dropping from the sky literally dropping to the ground in Texas!!! Yes, it was in the Northern hemisphere well above the equator. What was it supposed to signify or warn earthlings of?
Later it was concluded that the seven aboard the spaceship were lost. Among them was Laurel Clark, female, shown in her NASA jumpsuit, slightly curly hair reaching down to her shoulders, framing a roundish, cheerful face. For a split second Lynn thought she was looking at an old picture of herself.
In the original outline of Volume III, the central character was involved with NASA and spied on Iraq. With the help of a local mystic, the dictator was eliminated but the central character expired. In the revised version, she survived but went through a near death experience, This was in post war Iraq.
In both versions, she reached more serious stages of Retinitis pigmentosa. The advanced technology needed to help her also was a key factor in her special mission to Iraq.
The qualifications of the other Columbia crew members also were reminiscent of those of other characters in her book or the central character. The other doctor in the Columbia mission was officially in charge of the group’s physical well being and experiments on board. The other female was an expert in the use of external equipment to inspect the outside of the spaceship while on flight. She was the first astronaut from India. She could have seen and determined the dangerous status of the damaged foam insulation had the equipment been brought with them. It was lke Lynn without eyes during a critical part of an operation. The astronaut from Israel was not only the first from his country. He was a high ranking military officer who already was regarded as a hero because he and a couple of other pilots flew in tight formation over Iraq’s nuclear facility blowing it up thus stopping Saddam’s capability temporarily. At the time of the Columbia disaster, the world’s estimate was that Saddam would have nuclear weapons again by 2007 if not earlier. The Israeli astronaut was also doing observations relevant to water resources in dry terrain such as in his country. Everyone surmised that he would be particularly interested in observing any suspicious activity in Iraq.
The US President was appraised of the global situation and advised to share information with the British Prime Minister. The July 1999 Nostradamus’ Predictions and Our Lady of Fatima’s messages formed the background framework.
With the use of very complicated
precautions, Nostradamus' warnings reached the very generation that he wanted to
save them for ... ours!!! The least we can do is listen. Forget superstition,
religious bias, fear of the occult and sensationalism. All he did was write
down what he had the blessing to see 400 years ago. He did so to make us aware
of what were due to happen so we can alter events. Doing so can save our lives
and our planet.
1. Signs in the sky confirm that this is the right time for the prophecy.
July 15, 1999: There was supposed to have been a conjunction of Venus and the moon. It would have looked like the crescent and the star: THE SYMBOL OF ISLAM.
July16, 1999: The son of the first CATHOLIC president of the UNITED STATES of AMERICA fell from the sky and died.
Possible message: Muslims versus Christians; East versus West: just like Nostradamus' interpreters have been saying all along.
August 11, 1999: Total solar eclipse over the Middle East, Central Europe and most of Asia - at least one futurist already stated that "the countries under its shadow shall experience great stress".
August - September 1999: Comet H1 (Lee) close to earth at this time with minimum distance of 125 MILLION km. towards the end of September. Lots of room.

countries (for tax purposes). Trapping carbon dioxide deep in the ocean is

need to release it later for a controlled greenhouse effect when the earth gets

9-10-84: Bishop Amaral of Leira, Portugal, declared: "The secret of Fatima speaks neither of atomic bombs or nuclear warfare. Those awaiting the announcement for decades were clearly disappointed.
June 26, 2002: Pope John Paul II allowed the official speaker for the Vatican to reveal the 3rd part of the 3rd secret of Fatima. He deferred the honors since it involved himself. The focus was on a man dressed in white looking like a bishop. He was shot and fell looking dead. There were religious and lay people walking up the hill towards a roughly hewn cross. They were shot. The blood of the martyrs was collected in special containers. During one of the Blessed Virgin Mary’s apparitions, an angel stood beside her. He was holding a flaming sword. The brilliance emanating from Our Lady diminished that of the fire. The angel pointed the sword towards earth and proclaimed in a loud voice: “Penance! Penance! PENANCE!!!” A line on the Internet report showed: “Penance Is the key.” Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger.
The general impression after the announcement was that it was about the attempted assassination attempt on Pope John Paul II in May 1981. Hence, it is over with. There were no nuclear bombs. No elaboration was attempted concerning the angel with the sword. In fact, that portion of the announcement disappeared from the internet. Lynn sent an e-mail message to the pope. “So, what did the Lady really say?” The Fatima page maintained a comprehensive coverage of the subject. However, there was no real reaction from the Church and the world in general.
The UN debated the issue of the Iraq problem. At one point, the delegate from China compared the situation to a metaphorical volcano. The delegate from Iraq consistently denied the existence of WMD’s in his country. The US Secretary of State gave an impressive presentation complete with visual aids persuading the world to the contrary. As Nostradamus wrote, the black one made Saddam sorry. In a press conference in Manila, a former Iraqi official said that Saddam indeed got rid of his weapons. He may have given some to undetermined recipients who may in turn use them for their own purposes. He also said that Saddam will likely use his own people as a shield against invaders in Baghdad.
In the meantime, IAEA kept asking for more time to prove or disprove the presence or absence of WMD’s. Proof was impossible if the definition is actual presence of the product in a container saying WMD. No one can call a freezer full of tomato paste, chopped vegetables, meat and spices Mama’s Soup unless the commercially packaged soup was in cans with the internationally famous label on them. Spain was a strong advocate for immediate action against Iraq. The country knew what it was like to be in conflict, under siege and conquered by Muslims. Most needed more persuasion. Mid East countries were understandably careful with their opinions and actually tried to talk Saddam into leaving Iraq as requested by the US at some point. Bahrain offered him asylum. Saddam declined. The pope sent a delegate to Iraq. France, Germany staunchly voted against military action. Russia drifted farther and farther from the US and Great Britain. Lynn reminded the US President of the particular line in Nostradamus Predictions about the unlikely alliance between Russia and the US that will be important in winning the 27 year war.
The ‘July 1999 Predictions’ do not start and stop on July 1999. In the same token, not all the horrific events described in Nostradamus Predictions should be expected to happen now. They are distributed in a span of time between the 1500’s to 3797 which is what he wrote as the time of the actual end. His centuries and verses have been randomly arranged. Worse still, portions of verses have been literally intentionally cut from each other. He did this to purposely make understanding his messages difficult so his contemporaries will not readily find grounds with which to accuse him of witchcraft. Death would have been a very high price to pay fpr for instant fame. He advised his son not to follow his and their ancestors’ footsteps. He did say that Jewish ancestry, the Kaballah, the Catholic bible, and knowledge of ancient Astrology helped. He cautioned that there are different methods of calculating time and dates. That is probably why except for July 1999, he used astronomy events to mark dates of occurrences of his predictions. He also stated that he wrote the warnings so they can be of use by those who would be affected. Above all, he was inspired by God.
Edgar Cayce wrote volumes of predictions way after Nostradamus did. Some of them concur with those of the former. Gordon Michael Scallion wrote his opinions at an even later era. We can go ahead and whisper plagiarism. Who did Nostradamus plagiarize? The Blessed Virgin Mary made her apparitions way after Nostradamus. Would anyone dare accuse her?
The end of the 27 year period does not coincide with the end of a battle with Iraq. It is the end of the elapsed time not clearly specified that may have started as early as 1979 or as late as early July 1999. Therefore, that can be as early as 2006 and as late as 2026.
The decision to attack Afghanistan was easy to understand. Al Qaeda was determined to be responsible. Osama bin Ladin was the leader. He was known to be a terrorist with a wide selection of weapons and sophisticated capability and methods to maim and kill. His followers in the southern Philippines have been causing havoc since the late 90s.
The Muslims in the Philippines have been known to be fierce, ready to die for their cause. They have never been conquered by the Spanish or the Americans. It was because of their boldness that the Pershing Magnum revolver was invented because the US soldiers needed a weapon to stop the rebels on their tracks. They kept charging even when mortally wounded. During the dictatorial Marcos regime, disgruntled Muslims became more troublesome. The President’s political rivals took advantage of the situation and organized them to be more defiant. With or without the instigation of political figures, the former HUKS then called NPA’s and the Philippine Muslim insurgent groups merged. After Marcos was deposed, the new government tried unsuccessfully to pacify them. It was not till 1996 that a peace agreement was reached. One of their own was assigned as political leader of the region. Promises to improve the economy and living conditions and rights helped. Unfortunately, autonomy was usurped by the leader who spent more time elsewhere than in the area. Al Qaeda had no trouble recruiting them. They were sent to Afghanistan or Pakistan to learn the Quran. Obviously, this was a different version from the Koran they knew. They learned new fighting techniques. Kidnapping of the well to do and Christian teachers or government workers increased. It involved ransom and maiming and later included beheading of victims. They operated in Southern Mindanao at first then gradually spread terror farther North with bombing attacks sometimes as far as Manila. AL Qaeda was well known in the Philippines. The US became painfully aware of them when US citizens working as visiting missionaries in the Philippines became unfortunate victims. One male captive was beheaded. The second died with Filipino hostages during the final rescue effort. The wife of the second victim suffered a bullet wound in the lower extremety but survived to write a book about their year long ordeal. It is available to the entire world.
9-11 was unforgettable. Osama bin Ladin was in Afghanistan being protected and supported by a Muslim Fundamentalist regime. Widespread oppression and restriction were happening. Women in particular suffered restrictions that the west would not think of or think unreasonable. What stood out was their general absence of rights and the burka. Females looking like amoebae because of their head to toe covers were frequent subjects of outcries. Afghanistan fell eventually. Osama bin Ladin and the Afghanistan president escaped and were believed to be protected by supporters between Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Iraq was a different matter. Saddam did not have a role in the 9-11 nightmare. However, he was a known supporter of inhumanity in his own country and others. The reports of mass murders of Kords and Shihites and use of weapons of mass destruction on his own people and Iran were well known and documented. His invasion of Kuwait and burning of its oil wells angered the world. His continuous atrocities at home and defiance of UN sanctions were unparalleled. His sons tripled the problem. His nuclear capability and ambition to spread his territory was worrisome not only to his neighbors but also the entire world. He rewarded suicide bombers who targeted Israelites. He funded Hamas as did Iran an Syria. His first nuclear facility was destroyed by Israel but his ability to reach nuclear capability again was certain and estimated to be in 2007 or earlier. The source of uranium was debatable. He was very difficult to figure out. His studied deception methods were remarkable. A possible voluntary blindness to the activities of Al Qaeda in Iraq or support for Hamas and Hezbollah will be a disaster beyond compare.
At the same time, North Korea was conducting its own nuclear testing. Iran was strongly suspected of enriching uranium the source of which was also in question. The president said it was for domestic energy use. An oil rich country was not likely to need such a thing. It does not have enough refineries. There was a technology gap. However enough technology was attained for nuclear development. Iran also did some testing of missiles. Those most likely were not for energy purposes unless they were to dump fuel on Israel.
Saddam was the most urgent threat and most difficult to get compliance from. Now Bin Ladin and the Afghan president may be hiding in or at the border of Iraq. The former has reportedly tried to secure dirty bombs from Russia. After Russia changed leadership, several of those bombs could not be accounted for. The people of Iraq were just as oppressed as the Filipinos were under Marcos and maybe in a lot worse shape. If they have not been attracted by Al Qaeda yet, it would be very easy to be recruited fast. In fact it would be a surprise if Iraq already harbored some with or without Saddam’s knowledge. Also, although Iran and Iraq fought each other, Shihites in both countries and surrounding areas share the same convictions strengthened or modified after the Ayatollah Khomeini returned from France and asked for the exile of the prowestern Shah of Iran. The world experienced the painful effects of contending with a Muslim Fundamentalist regime. Osama bin Ladin, among others, were top students. Osama bin Ladin has become has become the strongest proponent. His son followed his example.
Furthermore, Iranian youth were trained to be Batids ready to fight for Fundamental Islam and eager to achieve the Ayatollah Khomeini’s definition of martyrdom. If during all the chaos, Shihites, Al Qaeda, Hamas, Hezbollah and Batids take a united front, the outcome shall be grim.
Debates in and out of the US went nowhere. Protests against possible war became louder and bigger. They were worldwide. No one thought of the other causes of conflict predicted by the so called occult. The Blessed Mother occult?
Shock and Awe proceeded with speed. The coalition forces entered Baghdad faster than anyone expected. While getting ready to attack Tikrit, Saddam’s hometown, the coalition forces had their hands full policing Baghdad. Massiv looting occurred. The Baghdad Museum was broken into. Antique artifacts dating back to 3000 years ago were lost. Later investigation showed that it was a professional job.
Tikrit remained a problem long after the US President declared the fighting over. Later, vests same as those used by suicide bombers attacking Israel were seen in Iraq. Numerous caches of weapons were discovered and destroyed. Unfortunately so were possible evidence of unusual ones. Bottles of infant formula were also found. There was no report of any verification that they were benign. Fertilizers were also seen but were not considered suspicious in an Agricultural country. Basements possibly used for training militants and holding hostages were found. Gas masks and vials of nerve gas antidotes were discovered dubbed precautionary supplies. Dead soldiers carried gas masks. If Saddam had no WMDs why did the soldiers each carry one to battle? Was it to protect themselves or to make them believe such a need may arise from which side? It maybe so the allies would notice the precautionary gear and run away scared. Maybe it was to embolden the Iraqi soldiers.
Later, a former Iraqi official who was requested by Saddam to bury sensitive equipment to be used when the time is right, led US soldiers to a rose bush in a backyard. The dug under it and recovered parts of a centrifuge needed to enrich uranium. These would have been duplicated later when Saddam gets left alone again as he was after the first Gulf War.
Al Sadr and Al Sarqawi independently continued resistance to foreign peacemakers. The latter thereafter admitted support for and conections with Al Qaeda. Both were not recent immigrants to Iraq.
Lynn’s fears were right. Iraq was not the winning war. It was part of a continuing series of conflicts ending no earlier than 2006 and as late as 2026. Nostradamus was right. With the unlikely alliance between the Babes of the North, the West shall win. Russia was not a participant in the Iraq conflagration. Is this the initial loss?
Prior to the war, the US and Great Britain sited the continuous use by Saddam of weapons of mass destruction as one of the reasons to consider him a danger to the world. His nuclear ambition and oppressive regime slipped into the background. When no obvious WMD’s were found, Nostradamus’ “Normans” were grilled not only in the UN but also worldwide and in their own countries. They began to feel what the Templars did when they were slowly roasted to death. People just did not think that WMD’s were not exactly sitting in the middle of the living room waiting to be photographed. Saddam outfoxed both countries. During the years he was under surveillance, he put on a wonderful show and the British wrote their famous dozziers and the US put together a most convincing slide presentation and commentary for the UN. Saddam had too much time to plan his strategy and set up his ruse while the UN debated endlessly. His idea of winning was not overcoming the opponent militarily. After the 1991 Gulf War, he actually declared victory making the world wonder about his sanity. For him, winning meant staying alive, being able to stay in Iraq, continue his ploys and eventually have the last laugh. He had no qualms about silencing those who opposed him. Mass graves of victims were discovered in Iraq.
Problems in Iraq are not confined to Saddam’s regime nor Al Qaeda. The Tower of Babel was here. It has been said that when the tower gets rebuilt, the end of the world would be near. It was rumored that one of the many palaces of Saddam was the fabled tower. It was also speculated that like the original tower which had loadstones as construction materials and caused a terrible electrical storm, one or more of Saddam’s palaces may contain dangerous components. Tikrit, in particular, followed by the Presidental palace were likely suspects. Saddam was born in Tikrit, 90 miles North of Baghdad. The population, mostly Sunnis, supported him and put up a fierce fight during the war. It was before the fall of Tikrit that massive looting of Baghdad and the museum occurred resulting in loss of antique treasures.
Sunnis enjoyed preferential treatment during Saddam’s rule and would not relinquish advantages over Shihitestes and Kurds easily. However, Shihite and Sunni differences go way back to Muhammad. In the Hadith of the Cloak, Muhammad wrapped his cloak aroung himself, his daughter Fatima and grandson Ali meaning leadership should be along this line. Although he had multiple wives, he had no natural son to inherit his position as head of Islam. Ancient law of the land and other civilizations decreed lineage through sons. As common in such situations, murder resolved the issue. The most sacred mosque was dedicated to Ihmam Ali and a yearly event commemorated his bloody loss. Somewhere along the line a three year old Ihmam Mahdi disappeared to reappear later when the situation is so dire and their version of the Messiah has to save them from their enemies and misfortunes. Both Shihites and Sunnis claim to be in the rightful line of descendancy from which Ihmam Mahdi would arise. This argument may not be resolved till the end of times. Meanwhile, the interfamily fight can last till then.
Amazingly, Christians survived through centuries of non-Christian regimes. They have been recently weakened and increasingly displaced to safer areas in and outside the country. Increased persecution, kidnappings and killings forced many to leave and face poverty.
The Kurdistani, along with the Turkomans and members of other ethnic groups in the safe haven in Northern Iraq, having been subject to previous ethnic cleansing and exercise in self rule within the central government may be most equipped to handle future challenges. Oil in Mosul and Kirkuk would be key factors in working out a system of government that would involve one or more self governing federal authorities within the same country. The Shihites have oil in their area. The Sunnis do not.
Her mother’s death prompted an emergency visit to the Philippines. She first went to their most recent home. “Would you like to stay in your old room?” Her sister-in-law asked. “Sure. Are the lights OK in there?”
“Yeah!”
“You still have fluorescent ceiling bulbs?”
She and one of her brothers arrived together. He was assigned the old boys room.
“Just like old times except you have to put up with more noise from traffic and the firing range. We’re in the war zone.”
“Where is the firing range?” Lynn asked.
“Almost to the back fence of the camp across Col. Sin’s house.”
“Poor guy.” Lynn laughed. “I bet he keeps checking his front wall for bullet holes.”
“No … just cracks and other damage from flying stones and junk set in orbit by jeepneys going over the speed limit. The range is underground. It just sounds like we are in the middle of it.”
The family used to live in NP Hq. When her father retired, they simply literally jumped over the back fence. Their former neighbor later moved right beside their new location. Another retired officer built an apartment on the other side. Her uncle used to own the twin house at the corner of the street. Others settled behind them. “So now, the entire camp wants to move here.”
She and her bother just have a couple hours to unpack, have lunch and then proceed to the mortuary. Green View was relatively peaceful and and away from heavily populated areas. There were relatives and friends already there to pay respect to her mother when Lynn arrived with two brothers and one sister-in-law. The middle brother and his wife met them. One of her mother’s caregivers at home helped her up the steps to the casket. “She called your name softly on and off.” she said. I almost feel that I know you.”
Lynn eagerly touched the rim of the casket and looked through the glass of the viewing window. She gasped. Years of practice in Medicine kept her in control of her emotions and reactions to unexpected sights and situations. Her mother lay peacefully and it seemed like she opened her left eye enough for the pupil to be visible. Lynn shifted her weight on one foot and then the other. It must have been caused by the unevenness of the glass. It magnified a portion of the underlying object producing the illusion of the eyelids separating and exposing the partially but minimally exposed eye and closing again when she moved and changed the angle of her line of vision. Of course she was under tremendous stress, awfully tired and with defective eyesight to begin with. Others would have noticed also. The caregiver did not show any sign of having seen anything unusual. She shifted her weight back and forth recreating the illusion to make sure that it was just that and then took a couple of pictures for later review. Her middle brother followed the lead and also took photos with his camera but for memories.
Lynn has been preoccupied with her mother’s deteriorating condition for weeks. She had decided to sign a living will to make it easier for remaining family members to make decisions. In both parents cases, she, being the eldest, was consulted by her brothers by phone when their father was ill and by e-mail when their mother was involved later. It was fortunate that she had the experience to draw from to make it comfortable for the ill and acceptable to the others. After the initial hospitalization, their father was cared for at home by nurses under supervision of a military doctor at the Station Hospital in camp. He lasted six months unable to move or speak after a massive stroke. Their mother was ill even before Lynn visited to check on their father’s condition in 1995. No one noticed. She had Alsheimer’s Disease and was at the agitated stage at the time. No one noticed.
When she and her brothers, three aunts, one cousin, and a sis-in-law had a meeting, <ynn as the next head of the family proposed a long term plan for care for both. That was tough since till then, her brothers and relatives were only worried about one person.
In 1998, her mother fell in the bathroom. She had a brain hemorrhage and was unconscious in ICU for a while. Then one day, in Arizona, on arriving home after work, Lynn discovered that she had locked a neighbor’s dog accidentally in her home. She was surprised when she felt two paws on her shoulders and a tongue licking her face. In the darkness it looked like one of the dogs they had years ago after moving out of the camp. That evening, her youngest brother called. It was to tell her that their mother woke up and the CT scan of the head showed no more sign of blood. When Lynn saw her in 1999, their was a very happy person. The brain injury must have damage the area that controls her mood. Things were better but she fell again and broke a hip. Lynn explained to her middle brother that their mother was not going to be comfortable unless the operation suggested by the doctor was done. Armed with this opinion, he signed the consent for surgery in spite of pessimistic odds. She recovered and was comfortable for years.
Shortly thereafter, the Iraq situation deteriorated. Lynn also developed a recurrent skin rash after spider bites. Her skin became more reactive to irritating substances and food. The condition also was seemingly aggravated by getting in the swimming pool which in the Arizona desert is a blessing that she then had to take less advantage of. It very slowly improved after giving up her favorite pastime. It was almost clear but worsened just before their mother’s death. It was clear the day before she received the news about her mother’s emergency hospitalization. She was apparently in Septic Shock at the time secondary to bed sores that got infected. Incidentally, the skin problem started the same time that Lyn’s Psoariasis did.
Their mother recovered enough to be transferred to the Station Hospital in NP HQ. However, she did not go home this time.
After the funeral, the immediate family proceeded to Lynn’s birthplace. It has ben remodeled after her grandfather’s death. She and the oldest of the brothers recollected the original plan and appearance of the house. She spent her early years here and observed the world through eyes that may have seen less than others did but perceived more through the power of the mind. She also, in rare instances, was present when townsfolk brought ill relatives to be touched by her grandfather. “I am not a doctor.” He protested but they were insistent and were sure that he could make them feel better. He eventually did and sometimes murmured a prayer. He believed in poultices but reserved their use to members of the family. He was not a mangkukulam, she thought. He just had healing energy.
From the old dining room window, she often leaned far out and happily announced her father’s arrival to the rest of the family. There was no way she could have identified him from others on the bridge quite a distance away. Later, she often passed time staring at a certain point on the river behind the gouse. On the porch, she daydreamed her way through her own little world. However, from this same house, through a smaller window that definitely framed the object in question, she failed to see the large, bright comet that everyone was talking about. She requested to be awakened very early in the morning for the sole purpose of beholding the spectacle. “I can’t see it!” she wailed. If anyone suspected anything wrong at the time, No one verbalized it.
The porch was transformed to her special room. It had light colored walls with large computer monitor screens on the south and east sides. There was no keyboard. The staurwell on the west became enclosed by what looked like the outside of an elevator. Through the closed doors, a man and a woman materialized into the room. Lynn squinted to see who they were. Her father looked so different during his last days. This man was younger, more agile and flexible. His eyes still had that penetrating all knowing look but were soft.
“Tatay!” She gasped. He smiled but motioned for her not to approach. The lady was wearing a kimono and was silent. She did not look familiar but Lynn guessed her identity. “Suki?” She askd. The woman smiled and nodded while holding her throat with one hand indicating the probable reason for inability to speak.
“This is your war.” Her father statted. “We have done whatever was needed for ours. What steps have you taken so far?”
Lynn pointed to the monitor screen on the east wall. “I tried to tell everyone what I understood of Nostradamus July 1999 Predictions.” She replied.
“What makes you think that they are reliable?”
“They include items that I can actually relate to such as those that occurred during my own lifetime.”
“Such as … ?”
Lynn continued her explanations. Her guests made themselves comfortable on the bench in front of the adjacent wall. The screen display changed automatically with the topic.
“1969: He wrote about LUNA. That rfers to man being able to walk on the moon. He could not have read that in books available in the 1500’s.”

Nostradamus was careful to state the date in words instead of asking readers to guess the timing of an associated Astrological event. This was meant to refer to a 27 year war involving Muslims and Christians. By this time it should be well under way making the end of the war as late as 2026 or just slightly earlier. Readers interpreted it as a warning about the end of the world.”

Interpreters said this refers to the Rome Coliseum It did not sound logical that Nostradamus would worry about a theater that was ALREADY ruined. Furthermore, in other interpretations, the verse started with “Great trembling IN the earth …” I thought it would be an earthquake. Mayon Volcano started spewing some ashes and smoke close to the date. That worried me. Also. The international organization I have been associated with for years was scheduled to hold an international convention in early June that year. I spent months following a website predicting earthquakes. The author hit the August earthquake and others right on the button. I warned the International President. When May 9 2000 came, I was relieved that the prediction was false. However, on May 8. 2000, US date but May 9 in Manila, a Pinoy was arrested for creating the Love Bug Virus. The World Wide Web was ruined forever.”
“…and so?”.. Her father muttered. Suki covered her mouth to stifle a gasp.

These are abbreviations of symbols of molecules. Nostradamus only used the first letter of some of them to form the acronym for an individual. There is a color change involved but not of the planet Saturn. This is more like the making of a nuclear bomb.

Please share this information with the British Prime Minister.
There are more problems after Iraq. Please make sure that we get COMPLETELY independent of ARAB OIL. Already, the March-April 2003 issue of G Magazine has an article about the worldwide split into three spheres (Muslim fundamentalists, EU and US-UK plus few friends). The information below was intended to be included in Volume III of my book, which you may never see or see too late. So, I am giving you the outline NOW.

“The world is its own enemy.” Lynn added.
“Pay attention to the “i”. It will tell you more than what others see.” Her father advised.
“Which eye?”
Suki stood up suddenly. She was sobbing soundlessly and pointing at the screen. Lynn turned to see what was going on. The text disappeared and was replaced by what the usual view should be of the opposite bank. Their old home was there. Behind and slightly off to one side was the newer one which the Japanese officer commandeered as his headquarters during WWII. While the rest of the family moved back to the old home with the servants, she was kept in the big house as a hostage and interpreter. There was a young girl kneeling close to the water’s edge. It was the youngest girl in the family weeping over the loss of the woman she loved as her mother.
Then the water glowed as the blood and spirits of all past heroes flowed into it.
“The river is red!!!” Lynn tried to tell her guests. They have partially dematerialized through the closed door. “Wait!!!”
